WHAT IS A VIRTUAL BOOK TOUR?

A virtual book tour enables you to get the word out about your book to those who are interested in books.

When we set up a book tour, we contact a number of blogs that specialise in books, these blogs have readers who are therefore interested in finding out about books that they may not necessarily hear about.

Depending on the type of book tour you sign up to, you can then choose from the post types available to include in your tour.  Each blog that decides to include you, then selects the date they want to publish the post and the post type.

You also have the option of running a contest during the time of your tour, where you can offer prizes, such as a copy of the ebook. This is a good idea, as it helps to create more interaction wth the reader.

This gets news about your book out to the masses and helps with sales of your book.

Post Type: Excerpt, Interview, Spotlight

A book blast takes place on a single date, with an unlimited number of blogs sharing your post.

This works well if you want to get your information out on a specific date, such as the day your book launches.

We always suggest contacting us at least 4 weeks before your tour date to maximise the number of blogs, but we can organise tours in less time than this if we have to.

Post Type: Review, Excerpt, Interview, Spotlight, Guest Post

A 5 or 10 day book tour enables you to have your post shared on 5/10 blogs over a 5/10 day period (Monday-Friday only).

While you do have the option of selecting to have reviews included within your tour, we cannot guarantee the number of reviews, as this will be a decision made by our bloggers.

Post Type: Review, Excerpt, Interview, Spotlight, Guest Post

A 1 month book tour enables you to have your post shared on blogs over a 28 day period (Monday-Friday only).

There is no guarantee on the number of blogs which will be included in the tour, but it is unlimited.

Blogs decide the date and the file type that they will be posting, so you may not have posts on each day during the 28 days, but there could be times when multiple blogs could be posting on the same day.

Post Type: Reveal Only, Review, Excerpt, Interview, Spotlight, Guest Post

A reveal tour is just as it says, an opportunity for you to publicly reveal either your book cover or book trailer.

While the main point of this type of tour is to make your reveal, having additional information for the post, such as an excerpt or interview can make it more appealing to both the blogger and blog reader.
